God is greatly blessing in our revival services. Continue to pray with us that God will send revival to our hearts. Prayer meetings are being held each evening at 6:15 and the preaching service begins at 7:00. Invite a friend and come join us around the preaching of God’s Word.
We are beginning our winter revival today with Evangelist Bobby Brown. We have been praying for this revival for several months now and are asking God to stir us to genuine Holy Spirit led revival that will outlast the meetings we will have this week. Join us all day Sunday and each evening this week at 7:00 p.m. Special prayer meetings will be held at 6:15 p.m. each evening.
Our annual Christmas program for Faith Baptist School will be held at the Sunrise Theatre in historic downtown Fort Pierce on Thursday, December 15, at 7:00 p.m. This is a beautiful dramatic presentation of the Christmas story featuring the music and drama departments of Faith Baptist School. Follow Atticus the Centurion as he goes on a quest to locate the Messiah. Tickets for The Centurion’s Quest are available from the Sunrise Theatre box office or online. The cost is $12.00. What a wonderful way to spend an evening with your family!
Sunday, November 27, is the final day of our Harvest Days Sunday School Campaign. It is also the first day of our Winter Revival with Evangelist and Mrs. Bobby Brown. Sunday is designated as Friend Day and we will be recognizing all the friends in the services. At 6:00 p.m. we will be having dinner on the grounds. Then the first service of our Winter Revival will begin at 7:00 and continue nightly through Thursday evening. Bro. Brown will be preaching each night and his lovely wife Gretchen will be bringing the special music. Plan to join us and pray for revival!
Last Sunday began our annual Harvest Days Sunday School campaign spotlighting our Sunday School departments. Sunday School classes are available for all ages from the youngest child to the oldest adult. May I encourage you to join us at 10:00 every Sunday morning for Sunday School. A number of classes are available – Adult Sunday School class, Senior Citizen class, Ladies class, Marriage and Family class, childrens classes, as well as Spanish and Haitian classes. Plans are being made to add two new classes after the first of the year.
Fourty-three years of God’s faithfulness were celebrated yesterday here at Faith Baptist Church. A sweet spirit, beautiful music, and Christ honoring preaching were all apparent as the day progressed. Four folks were saved and two families joined the church. The time of fellowship and dinner at 5:30 combined to encourage and prepare hearts for the evening service. Five of our ladies were honored in the service (two of them charter members) and several testimonies were shared before the video presentation documenting God’s faithfulness over these past 43 years. May God continue to bless and allow us another 43 years to serve Him.

This Sunday we are praying for a Mountain Moving offering on our 43rd anniversary. We are asking for God to supply $43,000 for a bill we need to get paid off. That’s $1,000 per year of ministry. We are praying for this to happen by October 31, 2009. Will you be praying with us for this need that only God can meet. “Expect great things from God. — Attempt great things for God.” (William Carey) God can move the mountain. – Pastor
